Summer in the Square

Hello Everyone,

We hope that you are all having a wonderful summer. So far this season we have had so many fun events to on that have been extremely successful. We thought we would share with you some pictures, memories and feedback so if you missed this so far, you'll be sure to attend the next events. The Farmer's Market has absolutely been a blast as there are so many different types of vendors offering a variety of products and produce. So far one of my favorite items at the Market are the Crepes from FLiP Crepes, they are to die for. Mick Klug Farms is now selling fresh raspberries and blueberries. Marilyn's Bakery seems to be consistently selling out of their bestsellers! I would also recommend having a snow cone from Jo Snow, her creativity and passion for her business is so apparent- the Tangerine Lavender Honey Snow Cone is delicious. While these are just some suggestions, all the vendors have something amazing to offer, stop on by!

Who doesn't love a nice night of fresh food and great weather? On top of all that, a relaxing night in Giddings Plaza for the Summer Concert Series! The plaza has been packed ever since the first concert featuring The Polkaholics. We have featured all sorts of genres so far this summer from reggae with Drop Stead, to blue-grass with The Hard Times Band, the feedback has been great. This past week Lincoln Square and the Rockwell businesses brought Harry and the Potters to Giddings Plaza and the crowd went wild! They started the night off with an explosion of confetti and from then on the audience was never at a stand still.

This week make sure to purchase your tickets to Pairings in the Plaza! A night of great food and beer under the clear skies in Giddings Plaza sounds hard to beat.
